Spring Roundup and Branding...

Come join us and get in on the excitement of Runamuk's ranch branding. This is the real thing. This is our real ranch branding that we're inviting ya'll to experience. For six days, we'll have daily cow work. We'll ride each day to gather and sort cow-calf pairs and move them to the holding corrals where we'll work them in the way of the old west. You'll then join us as we drive cattle to their summer pasture. You'll be able to get as much or as little riding as you can stand.  We set up a tent camp at our homestead cabin where stories from the day's events are shared around the campfire. This is best-suited for the serious rider. There will be a clinician on-hand at all times to answer and help with riding and horsemanship questions.

Clinician Reed Trexler:

Reed's philosophy centers around the belief that a horse should travel and guide with no resistance allowing the rider to be in control at all times. He realizes that each horse has diffreent abilities for which he adjusts his program to meet their specific needs, by doing this each horse is given the opportunity to perform at their full potential. He accredits his knowledge and techniques to some of the greatest horsemen and women he has observed over the years. Reed has a working commercial cattle ranch of his own where he has developed and implemented a training program that reflects his philosophy.

This is a popular event with limited spots available.
