Come join us and get in on our ranch branding. This is the real thing. This is our real ranch branding that we're inviting you to experience. We'll ride each day to gather and sort cow-calf pairs and move them to the holding corrals where we'll work them in the way of the old west. You'll then join us as we drive cattle to their summer pasture. You'll be able to get as much or as little riding as you can stand.

Runamuk Cattle Roundup, June 21-25

Ride with a purpose and help us gather our 1500 head of yearlings on 18,000 acres. This is an active week as this is an actual work week for us. During our Cattle Roundup you will also engage in Runamuk's horse program of High Performance Horsemanship. Throughout our week of gathering, moving, and doctoring cattle, you work hands-on with our yearling cattle. Not only will you work hands-on to help us gather and move our yearlings, you will have opportunity to learn practical horsemanship and stockmanship from premier horseman, Reed Trexler.

There is also time for cutting, sorting and working one-on-one with these cattle. Instead of doing this in an arena setting, we will take this outside the arena and into the pastures into a working environment where each person will be engaged in holding the cattle while an individual or group of individuals cuts and sorts. Taking this outside the arena makes this more challenging. Therefore, a perfect fit for the avid horseman.
